I am a German student from Halle (major: Business Informatics) and recently participated in an exchange program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Martin-Luther-University Halle/Wittenberg and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University Blacksburg.

My major is best described as a mix of computer science and business administration (equivalent to BIT) . I concentrated (in my 7th and 8th semester) on lectures dealing with databases and information systems in Blacksburg.

The time in Blacksburg was probably one of the best of my life, despite the fact that you can get quite busy in a graduate program.
